Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. It has been remodeled but the paint job needs some help. The staff at the front desk on duty Friday and Sunday were great, Rebecca saved our day! The female on duty Saturday during the day is a different story. In all our plan was to stay further N but no rooms were available due to multiple events. In all, this location is a great start point to visit the mountains in N GA. Might do it again!
I think many of the reviewers have very limited hotel experience. I travel for work, I’m in hotels 40-50 nights a year. This hotel is good for the price.I usually stay in $300/night hotels, this one was $120 at booking, and it’s good for $120. Breakfast selection wasn’t huge but it was adequate. Self made waffles, muffins, grits, cereal, bagels, fruit, juice, coffee. No eggs or bacon but it’s $120 a night and Waffle House is $15/person what do you expect? Room was small but clean, super hot shower, no bugs. Small TV and thin walls. Overall it’s not the Ritz, but it’s not Ritz pricing and it’s good for the price.
The staff was absolutely wonderful here! They gladly made an accommodation for me to store my pumped breast milk. It was a very simple but effective room, as well as being quite cost efficient! This hotel was in close proximity to everywhere we planned on visiting.
Very nice folks. Decent small breakfast. Beds were comfy and felt very safe!
The only problem was with our room keys. We got in the room fine, but when we came back from dinner we could not get in. We had to have the keys remade. Then we went to breakfast one at a time because when we tried the "new" keys they did not work. It was just easier to leave the room one at a time so we could always get back in.
Such a pleasure to stay in Microtel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Good free breakfast. We stay there 2 night. I’ll definitely recommend it to my family and friends.
Best room ever! Breakfast was outstanding! Breakfast Staff are always willing to help, Customer Service was courteous, and Housekeeping was always on time with a beautiful smile! Amazingly welcoming to children, and pet friendly environment. Thank you for a great stay!
This is one of the cleanest motels we have been to. The rooms are super clean! We received excellent service from Katie. She was very thorough while doing her job, very helpful, and just absolutely amazing! This girl deserves a raise! We will definitely visit again and hope to see Katie again!
